Breitling's call to Diving Professionals

Breitling introduces the new Superocean 44 Special, water-resistant up to 1,000m – available in two versions.

Available in black and blue versions, the Breitling Superocean 44 Special timepiece comes with a sturdy steel case and a high-tech ceramic bezel. The black and blue versions of the bezel, matching the dial, matches the satin-finished steel case.

Water-resistant to a depth of 1,000 meters or 3,300 feet, the timepiece personifies the status of being a professional diving watch with its characteristic features. This includes a security valve which helps balance the difference in the pressure inside and outside the case, and a twin-gasket screw-locked crown. The dial features large luminescent indications to ensure legibility, and the hands clearly distinguish the hours from the minutes, with their baton-type shape. The seconds-hand with the red tip and a small luminescent triangle helps confirm the movement is working at any given time. The sapphire crystal is glare-proofed on both sides, to enhance the legibility.
