Baselworld 2018 Gets a Chatbot

Baselworld pioneers in the digital age with an intelligent chatbot at your service this season!

With the SIHH leading the way with a thoroughly digital approach to its 2018 edition, Baselworld doesn't seem to be too far behind. Pioneering an innovative approach to communication, the world's largest Watch and Jewellery show will witness the debut of their very own ChatBot – Baselworld Live News.

“This Chatbot ‘Baselworld Live News’ now allows us to offer more interactive, instantaneous, direct and personalised communication,” says Sylvie Ritter, Managing Director of Baselworld. “Thanks to this new and highly efficient channel, exhibitors will now have a direct link with existing and prospective customers. In this way, we are moving from global communication to direct and personalised communication in real time, which allows us to bring exhibitors and visitors closer together more quickly,” explains Sylvie Ritter.

The new digital offering will be networked with existing electronic media such as the Baselworld website, the e-catalogue and the Baselworld App. All the news will be circulated via mobile messaging services like Facebook Messenger, WeChat and Telegram.

You can subscribe to the ChatBot on the 1st of March, 2018.
