Watches and Wonders 2026 Preview: Bianchet unveils a new collection - UltraFino Rotondo

The brand’s latest line debuts with a round case
Ahead of Watches and Wonders 2026, Bianchet introduces UltraFino Rotondo expanding its arsenal with a new facet: the circular case collection. Unlike previous models, which have tonneau-shaped cases.

A new case design

Bianchet offers the haute horlogerie timepiece in two versions: one with a Grade 5 titanium case and the other with a carbon fiber case. Both materials are prized for their light weight and high durability. While the titanium version boasts a characteristic sheen, the carbon fiber model impresses with its unique grain pattern.

Despite their light weight—48 grams in carbon fiber and 75 grams in titanium—and their slim profile of just 8.9 millimeters, the cases are water-resistant to 100 meters and shock-resistant to 5,000 grams . Both watches have a diameter of 39.5 millimeters and come with an integrated bracelet and an additional rubber strap.

The dial as a stage for the clockwork

The dial puts the meticulously crafted, self-winding UR01 manufacture caliber at the forefront. Measuring a mere 3.85 millimeters in height, this mechanical microcosm unites a total of 225 components and 29 jewels. The flying tourbillon, crafted from titanium, is both an aesthetic and technical highlight, dispensing with an upper bridge and appearing to float freely in space. Another technical marvel is the mainspring barrel, which stores the 60-hour power reserve.

Furthermore, a specially developed winding and hand-setting mechanism has been integrated, reducing friction, increasing efficiency, and enhancing the tactile quality. Shock-absorbing solutions protect delicate components on multiple levels, lending the movement an exceptionally high degree of robustness for an ultra-thin tourbillon.

Each piece is finished by hand in Bianchet's workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The beveling of the bridges alone takes more than thirty hours. Every edge is meticulously hand-worked and polished until the metal catches the light in a way no machine can reproduce. A striking contrast is provided by the partially skeletonized and equally exquisitely decorated rotor in 18k rose gold.

The UltraFino Rotondo in titanium costs Rs. 72,75,000 (approx.). The carbon version costs Rs. 78,57,000 (approx.)
