Auction house Phillips welcomes James Marks as the new International Specialist.

A respected member of the watch community for many years, James Marks joins Phillips in association with Bacs & Russo after a 17-year long stint

The Watchmakers, The Masters of Art Horology exhibition in London will be hosting the works of the most celebrated independent watchmakers in the world. Twelve artisans, each a legend in the realm of Haute Horologerie, will be using the opportunity to describe the traditional working methods and prized watches upon which their reputations have been built.

Based out of the United Kingdom, Marks will be assuming responsibility for leading the Department's international sourcing efforts from the English country. He will also be responsible for redefining the strategy for the Watch Department in the UK, whilst developing a long-term sourcing strategy for all selling centres, and assisting all auctions around the world.
