Last year, Trilobe had introduced its Nuit Fantastique watches in three iterations - two in titanium and one in rose gold - and the timepieces featured, for the first time, a guilloche dial. This year for Geneva Watch Days, the brand is expanding its portfolio with two new Nuit Fantastique iterations, called Ombre and Lumière, both available in the case sizes of 40.5mm and 38.5mm.
Both the new watches entail a three-piece grade 5 titanium case and domed bezel topped with sapphire crystal and multi-layered anti-reflective treatment. The grained dials come in new shades of black (Ombre) and white (Lumière), paying tribute to Jean Dubuffet, French painter and sculptor.
The dial features the brand's patented fixed display concept that shows hours, minutes, and seconds on the same plane. The largest, moving peripheral ring shows the hour, indicated by the stationary Trilobe logo; the minutes are represented by the smallest aperture, and the seconds by the constantly rotating ring encapsulating Clous de Paris guilloché. Powering the novelties is the X-Centric automatic calibre with about 48 hours of power reserve, a signature automatic movement developed for the brand.
A leather strap with titanium pin buckle flanks the case. The timepieces are resistant to water up to 50 metres. The watches are priced at Rs. 9,81,000 (approx.)
