The all-white Swatch X Omega Moonswatch 'Mission to the Moonphase' is here

The latest collaborative piece highlights NASA's safety mascot Snoopy on its moonphase counter positioned at 2 o’clock
To celebrate the 2nd year anniversary of the iconic Bioceramic MoonSwatch Collection, a collaboration series between Swatch and Omega brings a new Swatch X Omega Moonswatch 'Mission to the Moonphase', (Ref. SO33W700) which highlights NASA's safety mascot Snoopy on its moonphase counter positioned at 2 o’clock. The timepiece is the Swatch’s first moonphase complication into its chronograph movements. Reminiscing the full moon, the watch features all-white aesthetics - a Bioceramic case, crown, pushers, and a matching VELCRO© strap.

Back in January, Swatch fueled rumors of a Snoopy Edition of the popular MoonSwatch when the brand released a teaser animation on Instagram showing Snoopy with a MoonSwatch case. The engagement on the post suggests that demand for the new timepiece will continue to match the first releases - or could even exceed previous campaigns.

The addition of Snoopy to the Omega Speedmaster collection has captured the hearts of enthusiasts and collectors alike. Snoopy became a bestseller for Omega (as well as other watch brands such as Swatch, Seiko and Timex). The new MoonSwatch continues this legacy and should appeal to a wide range of fans.

In a teaser video, Swatch shows an (auxiliary) dial animation with a special moon phase function. Snoopy walks in a mirrored position between a cloud environment. The disc is surrounded by the numbers 5 to 29 1/2. An allusion to the moon's orbital period as seen from Earth. During the circumnavigation, night mode is activated. The illuminated cloud mass reveals the inscription "I can't sleep without a night light", which can symbolically refer to both the moon as a groundbreaking light and Luminova lighting.

The all-white bioceramic watch measures 42mm and is incorporated with a bezel with tachymeter scale and carries Omega X Swatch branding on the crown, dial, and strap.

The watch is set to release officially on March 26, 2024.
