To mark 40 years of tennis partnership, Rado unveils the Captain Cook x Tennis Limited Edition, honouring its first sponsorship at the 1985 Swiss Open Gstaad. Limited to 1,985 pieces, this 39 mm stainless steel watch blends sport and heritage. A plasma ceramic bezel insert and box-shaped sapphire crystal ensure durability and clarity. Water-resistant to 300 metres, it houses the Calibre R763, an automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve, antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring, and 25 jewels, regulated in five positions. The gradient dial transitions from ruthenium to white and features luminous markers tied to tennis scores at 3, 6, 8, and 12 o’clock. Rhodium hands and indexes with Super-LumiNova® enhance legibility, while a rotating anchor and date window at 3 add detail. A rice-grain steel bracelet with three extra NATO straps in green, blue, and orange—each with EasyClip functionality—complete the sporty yet refined design, embodying Rado’s legacy of precision and performance.
