The Panerai Luminor GMT Ceramica (Ref. PAM01460) is a 40 mm automatic watch that marks a first for the brand, combining the iconic Luminor design with a high-tech black ceramic case in a more compact size. The case, including the crown-protecting device, is crafted from a sandblasted black ceramic known for its extreme hardness, scratch resistance, and light weight. It features a black sun-brushed “sandwich” dial with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers, a date window at 3 o’clock, a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, and a central arrow-shaped hand for a second time zone (GMT). Powering the timepiece is the in-house automatic mechanical P.900/GMT calibre movement, which is visible through a smoked sapphire crystal caseback set into a Grade 5 titanium housing and provides a reliable 72-hour power reserve.
