The new limited edition Senator Excellence Perpetual Calendar by Glashütte Original now comes in a rose opaline dial and dark blue leather strap version. Limited to just 100 pieces, the new model houses a beautifully crafted automatic movement that has been developed by the ateliers of the renowned Saxon manufactory.

The watch comes in a 42mm stainless steel that is ergonomic in its structure. Giving the classic black/white and brown/grey colours a break, this particular timepiece is set with a galvanised rose opaline dial with blue appliques and pear-shaped blued hands. The dial is specially decorated with the help of an elaborate and complicated process that involves a number of steps, hence giving its a unique silken hue that is rare to find in any other watch dial. This hue of the galvanised dial matches perfectly against the blued hands and blue hour appliques. Additionally, the dial is also home to the finely stepped calendar windows and a moon phase display.
