In December last year, Carl F Bucherer announced its plans to focus more on customised pieces with the launch of the CFB Mastery Lab and also hinted at more changes that were to sweep the brand. In keeping with that, the Lucerne-based brand has announced its very first capsule collection to mark the 135th anniversary of the brand being celebrated this year. Comprising five watches, all reimagine bestsellers from the brand’s portfolio. While all the watches launched yesterday, each model debuted every two hours in a different city, which has had significance for three generations of the Bucherer family over the past 135 years, in partnership with popular faces. Out of the five new launches, three are limited editions crafted with forged carbon and titanium.
Uwe Liebminger, Chief Marketing Officer of CFB, says, “We’ve created the Capsule Collection for people who not only have an entrepreneurial spirit, but who particularly appreciate exploring time differently.” The new designs are not created with a focus on a target age group or gender, but rather with striking aesthetics in mind.
