Geneva Watch Days 2023: Oris expands its portfolio with three new releases

The brand also revives its Artelier collection along with the launches

All three releases by Oris are different from each other in all aspects. First is Oris X Bracenet, a special version of the Aquis date diver’s watch, launched keeping sustainability in mind. The second is AquisPro 4000m, a brand’s most water-resistant diver’s watch. And the third is the Artelier S, launched in two colour variations. Let’s take a look at these timepieces in detail.

Oris X Bracenet

In collaboration with social enterprise Bracenet, which upcycles ‘ghost’ fishing nets to make accessories, and now watch dials, Oris has launched a Oris X Bracenet edition. The stainless steel timepiece is launched in two size variations, 43.50mm (Ref. 733 7730 4137
07 8 24 05PEB) and 36.50mm (733 7770 413707 8 18 05P), and feature a unidirectional rotating bezel and Upcycled ‘ghost’ fishing net dial topped with anti-reflective domed sapphire. Additionally, the kaleidoscopic dial of the watch reflects blue and green fusion, made with a melting and cooling of fishing nets, and hence no two dials are the same. There is a date window located at 6 o’clock and the hour markers and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova®

Powering the timepieces is an automatic Calibre Oris 733, boasting 38 hours of power reserve. And finishing them is a multi-piece stainless steel metal bracelet with a security folding clasp (the larger model comes with clasp extension). The creations are water resistant up to 300 metres.

Price: INR 2,19,000 (approx.)

AquisPro 4000m

The AquisPro 4000m (Ref. 01 400 7777 7155-Set) is 49.50 mm timepiece; it is the brand’s first titanium made watch with a 4000 metre water resistance. The creation is installed with Oris-patented technology like rotation safety system bezel, which locks the bezel in place, and security folding clasp extension system. Topped with an anti-reflective coated domed sapphire, the case has ceramic bezel insert and dial that features wave patterns finished with a blue gradient, date window at 6 o’clock, and Super-LumiNova® coated hands and hour markers. Beating inside the model is an automatic Oris Calibre 400 that offers 120 hours of power reserve. The blue rubber strap with titanium security folding clasp and extension flanks the watch.

Price: INR 5,33,000 (approx.)

Artelier S

Minimalistic yet beautiful, the Artelier S dress watches are revealed in two colour variations— one with a forest green dial and dark brown leather strap (Ref. 01 733 7762 4057-07 5 20 70FC) and deep black dial with dark black leather strap (Ref. 01 733 7762 4054-07 5 20 69FC). The 38mm pieces are crafted in stainless-steel and topped with an anti-reflective coated domed sapphire. Their dials are incorporated with minimal hour markers and minute tracks, and hands which are coated with  Super-LumiNova®. Both the models are equipped with an automatic movement Oris 733, boasting about 38 hours of power reserve. The watches are water resistant up to 30 metres.
