Hrithik Roshan inaugurates Rado’s exclusive store in Jaipur

Rado’s Global ambassador and the bollywood heartthrob, Hrithik Roshan unveils the festive season 2023 collection at the store launch
The Swiss luxury watchmaker Rado’s exclusive store in Jaipur was recently inaugurated by its global ambassador, Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. The boutique opening also saw the unveiling of the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Skeleton (Ref. R32150168) timepiece, which joins one of Rado’s most celebrated lines. The latest iteration follows the ‘Art of Skeletonization’ theme, and is powered by the new R808 skeleton movement.

The novelty is incorporated with a rose-gold coloured PVD coated stainless-steel turning bezel with a matte olive-green high-tech ceramic insert with engraved and white Super- LumiNova® filled numbers, markers, and triangle. The High-Tech ceramic is lightweight and scratch-resistant. Topped with an anti-reflective box-shaped sapphire glass, the matte olive green case timepiece features a skeleton dial showcasing the nickel-coloured horizontally-brushed decoration and rose-gold-colour brushed centre wheel bridge. Further the dial has white lume applied rose-gold-coloured hour markers and hands and the brand’s signature moving anchor symbol with synthetic ruby backplate below 12 o’clock.

“It is a pleasure to be here in Jaipur to launch Rado’s new festive season collection at its newest monobrand store,” said Hrithik Roshan about the launch. “I have been a part of the Rado team for over 12 years now, and over the years I've been amazed to see how beautifully the brand has adapted to the Indian market. It has been a continuous exercise by the brand to deliver luxury watch offerings to suit Indian occasions, be it weddings or festivals. The collections blend sleek looks with high-tech materials, guaranteeing quality and style. I identify with Rado’s spirit of uncompromising commitment to excellence and that is what makes it my preferred brand,” said the actor who will next be seen in the January-slated Fighter.

The R808 skeleton movement of the new Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Skeleton has an antimagnetic NivachronTM hairspring, and boasts a power reserve of about 80 hours. The sporty creation has a matching olive-tone rubber strap, reminiscent of the brand’s diver model straps, and a stainless steel extendable folding clasp with rose-gold-coloured push buttons. The watch is water resistant up to 300 metres.

Further describing the latest festive season 2023 collection, the brand says, “With uncompromising character well-known in the Captain Cook lineage, the new watch brings the virile, explorative power of the mineral world into a high-tech ceramic creation in new shades of matte olive-green, next to sunny rose-gold PVD treatment. A clear natural for the wrists of determined explorers in exotic and vibrant places, proud to celebrate their uniqueness with a timepiece to match their journey.
