For Watches and Wonders 2024, Bell & Ross receives three new BR-05 models in its BR 05 series, and for the first time the popular collection by the brand adopts ceramic material, which is completely scratch resistant, and the brand's favourite colour black. Also, the watches in the line debuts in 41mm diameter. A BR 05 Chrono Grey Steel & Gold also joins the release.
BR-05 Ceramic collection
All the three 41mm creations in the BR-05 line feature mass-dyed material to make them more scratch proof and shine constantly. The cases of the BR 05 Black Ceramic and BR 05 Skeleton Black Ceramic are finished with a satin polish, while the BR 05 Skeleton Black Lum Ceramic timepiece entails a matte surface on its case as well as on the bracelet.
The BR 05 Black Ceramic is incorporated with a black dial with Arabic numerals and markers, along with a date window popping at 3 o’clock. The model is equipped with automatic calibre BR-CAL.321 with approximately 54 hours of power reserve. While other two models, as their name suggests ,features a skeleton dial displaying their rhodium- plated automatic mechanical calibre BR-CAL.322, which boasts a power reserve of about 54 hours. The hands and hour markers of the BR 05 Skeleton Black Lum Ceramic are enhanced with C5 Super-LumiNova® green luminescent material for a better readability, while the other two features a different green glowing Super-LumiNova.
The novelties are water resistant up to 100 metres. The BR 05 Black Ceramic and BR 05 Skeleton Black Ceramicand are finished with black rubber or ceramic bracelet, and the BR 05 Skeleton Black Lum Ceramic model comes with a black ceramic bracelet.
BR 05 Chrono Grey Steel & Gold
The timepiece features a 42mm satin-finished and polished steel and 18K rose gold case featuring bezel and central links of the integrated bracelet in 18K rose gold and a ruthenium sunray finished dial, whose metallic reflection obtained by galvanization. Further, there is a chronograph minutes counter at 3 o’clock, a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock, and a small date window at 4:30. The rose gold gilded hour marks, numbers at 6 and 12 o’clock, and hands on the dial are filled with green glowing white Super-LumiNova®.
Powering the BR 05 Chrono Grey Steel & Gold is the automatic mechanical calibre BR-CAL.326, with around 60-hour power reserve.The watch is water resistant up to 100 metres and is offered with a black rubber strap or two-colour bracelet in steel and 18K rose gold.
