Recently at Watches and Wonder 2024, H. Moser & Cie showcased two new Pioneer Centre Seconds watches, along with a Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton. Now, quick on the heels of those release the brand presents Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition (Ref. 6811-1200), another fully skeletonised creation, and its first collaborative watch with Alpine Motorsports—the brand has recently become Alpine Motorsports' first global partner.
The latest fully chiselled three-dimensional, sculptural Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition, is crafted in a steel case size that measures 42.3mm, and is topped by a slightly domed sapphire crystal. Its skeletonised dial reveals the automatic three-dimensional Manufacture Calibre HMC 811, beating at 21,600 VPH, and boasting a 74 hours power reserve.
The display also entails a one-minute flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, fitted with a cylindrical hairspring—each cylindrical hairspring is shaped by hand, requiring a process that is 10 times longer compared to producing the traditional hairspring—featuring a hand-bevelled skeletonised anthracite finish balance bridge and main plate, and diamond bevelled bridges. There is a small semi-transparent domed dial in bright blue synthetic spinel at 12 o'clock, featuring Super-LumiNova® coated hour makers and Globolight® inserted hours and minute hands.
Through the caseback one can see a large openworked gold oscillating weight with the brand’s name engraved on it, and the automatic bi-directional pawl winding system. Limited edition of 100 pieces, the timepiece is water resistant up to 120 metres. A comfortable blue moulded a rubber strap with the brand's logo engraved steel folding clasp, completes the watch.
