To commemorate the 70th anniversary of Sincere Watches, Czapek & Cie.’s exclusive retailer in Singapore and South-East Asia, the brand unveiled a new Antarctique S Mirrored Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition (Ref. 1535). Released as a 38-piece limited watch, it features a distinctive mirrored finish silicon wafer dial and two-tone metal combination.
The new Antarctique S Mirrored Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition features a 38.5mm case crafted in stainless-steel and yellow gold. Its bezel, crown protectors, and the middle C link of the bracelet is in yellow gold. The novelty entails a beautiful mirrored dial, made in collaboration with MD’Art. For the very first time, the brand features a dial made with single silicon wafer, which is a semiconductor known for its use in microelectronics and photovoltaics. To make a perfectly smooth dial, a very thin disc of the crystalline silicon is polished and then put a fine PVD coating of platinum on it, which further enhances the reflective qualities of the silicon wafer. Furthermore, there are the brand's signature hour markers and sword hands.
The transparent sapphire crystal caseback reveals the automatic in-house manufacture Calibre SHX5, beating at 4 Hz and boasting a 60-hour power reserve, and the Sincere Fine Watches 70th anniversary commemorative logo transfer. An integrated stainless steel and yellow gold bracelet with Czapek exclusive "easy release" system flanks the case.
