Victorinox’s I.N.O.X. collection, popularly known for the kind of durability that is synonymous with the brand’s Swiss Army Knives, now sees the addition of two new chronographs that are exclusive to India.
Victorinox I.N.O.X. Chrono India ExclusiveFollowing the signature design codes of the line, the watches have curved cases and protected crowns, with the bezel designed to appear like a sharp pocket knife has carved it out. There are two versions of the India-exclusive designs - one has a rose gold PVD case and bezel, and the other has a rose gold PVD case and black PVD bezel. Both watches feature a black-grained-textured dial with three subdials - 30 minutes at 9, small seconds at 3, and 1/10 second at 6 o’clock accommodating a date window inside. There is a day of the week indicator window at 12 o’clock. The hands and baton hour markers are coated with Swiss Super-LumiNova®, and the counter-balance of the seconds hand is inspired by the design of the Swiss pocket knife. Also, the watches have a closed caseback with a Swiss knife engraved on them.
“I.N.O.X. is the most iconic Victorinox watch collection and is the inspiration behind our new design approach,” says Arianna Frésard, Head of Category Watches at Victorinox about the line. “We have blended elegance, strong geometrics, and industrial codes in a combination of functionality, resistance, and innovative material mixes. The outcome reflects our industrial-derived ability to deliver modern sophistication,” she added.

Powering the models is the Ronda 5040. E Swiss-made quartz movement with day, date, and chronograph functions. The movement is also ISO 764 certified magnetic resistant and has double shock resistance. The watches are resistant to water up to 200 metres and are finished with black rubber straps.

I.N.O.X (meaning ‘steel’ in German) is the brand’s flagship line - in 2014, Victorinox began the production of internal components with the launch of the first I.N.O.X - and in 2023, the I.N.O.X Chrono marked the first time that a chronograph function debuted in the line. By 2026, the brand plans to reveal a total of seven new watch collections that embody its core values, and have a design inspired by Swiss nature and the industrial roots of Victorinox.
This includes elements like a dial featuring the rough texture of a natural hiking path, practical and sporty rubber straps, ISO 6425 certified watches for functional competence, design elements like a counterweight designed like a Swiss Army Knife and a notch on the bezel looks as if it has been carved out by a sharp pocketknife, and more.
