Technical Advancements Across the Luminor Marina Collection
The 2025 collection, launched at Watches and Wonders 2025, represents a significant technical evolution for the Luminor Marina. All new models feature the P.980 calibre, an automatic movement with a 3-day power reserve and traversing balance bridge for enhanced stability and accuracy. The movement features a stop-second function, allowing for precise time-setting by halting the seconds hand when the crown lever is pulled out. Additionally, the P.980 has undergone six-position testing to ensure reliable chronometric performance.
The new Luminor Marina series features, for the first time ever, a water resistance of up to 50 BAR (~500 meters), a debut standard for the collection. Each timepiece undergoes testing at 25% greater pressure than its rated water resistance to ensure it meets the brand's exacting standards.
Despite maintaining the bold identity that defines the Luminor, the new models benefit from a case redesign that reduces thickness by 12% and weight by 15%, improving comfort and wearability. The new streamlined lugs and PAM Click™ release system on both strap and buckle, another first with the Luminor Marina, make strap changes an effortless tool-free experience, adding to the watch's versatility.
All models in the collection feature the Super-LumiNova® X2
All models in the collection feature the Super-LumiNova® X2 for the first time in Panerai's core lineup, providing increased brightness and readability in low-light conditions, a nod to the military origins of the timepiece. Each watch displays a clean dial with Panerai's name, "Luminor Marina" designation, and an enlarged beveled date window at 3 o'clock, complemented by a rhodium small seconds display at 9 o'clock.
Luminor Marina Titanio PAM003325: Performance Meets Military Aesthetic
The Luminor Marina Titanio PAM003325 represents a fusion of Panerai's material expertise with a distinctive olive green aesthetic that recalls the brand's military roots. The 44mm brush-finished case is crafted from Grade 5 titanium, offering comparable strength to steel but with 44% less weight—an ideal combination of resilience and comfort.
Luminor Marina Titanio PAM003325
Panerai's history with titanium dates back to the 1980s with the Millemetri prototype. They reintroduced the material to their collection in 1998 with the Submersible PAM00025, selected specifically for its corrosion resistance in marine environments.
The titanium case is paired with a polished bezel and an olive-green sun-brushed sandwich dial. The watch comes with a dark green scamosciato calf strap—an homage to vintage Panerai pieces—and a second dark green rubber strap. The Super-LumiNova® X2 markers glow white in dark conditions, ensuring optimal readability.
Luminor Marina PAM03323: Contemporary Elegance with Innovative Bracelet
The PAM03323 reimagines the classic Luminor Marina with the introduction of a progressive V-shaped bracelet design that tapers from the case to the buckle. The bracelet features a brushed finish on interior links with polished edges, creating an eye-catching three-dimensional effect as light plays across the surface.
Luminor Marina PAM03323
This model introduces the Quick Length Adjustment feature, allowing wearers to extend the bracelet by 2mm on each side without tools, accommodating fluctuations in wrist size due to temperature or activity. The metal bracelet is also equipped with the PAM Click Release System™ for easy strap changes.
Luminor Marina PAM03323
The PAM03323 features a light blue sun-brushed dial—a first-ever colourway for Panerai—with white Super-LumiNova® X2 markers and numerals. The 44mm case is crafted from Panerai's premium AISI 316LVM - 1.4441 stainless steel, which undergoes a vacuum arc remelting process to maximize purity and corrosion resistance.
The collection is available in three strap variations:
- PAM03312 in a traditional black dial paired with a black alligator strap.
- PAM03313's sun-brushed blue dial is matched with a blue alligator strap
- PAM03314’s white dial brings a contemporary flair with its black alligator strap.
Each model also includes a second rubber strap in matching colours.

Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech™ PAM01575: High Complication Mastery
The crown jewel of Panerai's 2025 novelties is undoubtedly the Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech™ PAM01575, which embodies the Maison's approach to high complications. This sophisticated timepiece integrates an advanced perpetual calendar while maintaining Panerai's signature legibility and functional elegance.
Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech™ PAM01575
Differentiating itself from traditional perpetual calendars that require complex manual adjustments, Panerai's design ensures effortless operation. All calendar functions—including day, date, month, and leap year—are adjustable via the crown, eliminating the need for additional pushers and preserving the clean Luminor aesthetic. This refined approach allows the complication to remain both sophisticated and highly practical.
At the heart of this exceptional timepiece is the P.4100 calibre, featuring an off-centered 22-carat gold micro-rotor for efficient automatic winding while maintaining a slimmer profile. The movement delivers an impressive three-day power reserve stored in two barrels for consistent energy release and chronometric precision.
P.4100 calibre
The sapphire crystal dial enhances depth and visibility, with a refined layout ensuring that the day, date, and GMT functions remain instantly readable. The dial architecture is complemented by luminescent hands and markers with Super-LumiNova® X2, providing superior legibility in low-light conditions.
For global travelers, the dual-time functionality offers both 12-hour and 24-hour indicators operating independently. The dedicated 24-hour sub-dial at 9 o'clock provides a precise reference, while the centrally mounted GMT hand displays a second time zone. The adjustment system enables quick time zone changes without affecting the running seconds or date.
Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech™ PAM01575
Technical innovations abound, including a patented date shock protection system that prevents misalignment from sudden impacts, and a seconds reset feature that stops the balance wheel and seconds hand when the crown is pulled out, allowing for exact time-setting down to the second. The movement's double balance bridge enhances stability and ensures precision in all conditions.
A thoughtful design touch is the power reserve indicator positioned on the caseback, allowing wearers to monitor remaining energy through an engraved rotating disk without disrupting the dial's clean aesthetic.
