Breguet continued 250th anniversary celebrations all the way to Dubai, where the brand showcased the latest celebratory models launched in the Reine de Naples line: Reine de Naples Crazy Flower and Reine de Naples Perles Impériales. Both models are heavily decorated with diamonds and set in 18-karat Breguet Gold, combining Haute Horlogerie and Haute Joaillerie. The Crazy flower model brings a flower crafted with diamonds alive on the wrist, while Perles Impériales puts the rare Akoya pearl in the spotlight.
Reine de Naples Crazy Flower
With an entirely paved dial, bezel, case-middle and crown, the Crazy Flower features a total of 436 diamonds. Taking inspiration from yellow and white frangipani flowers, it features 116 baguette-cut diamonds set in a mobile manner around the dial, making it move fluidly to the wrist’s movement. To achieve this fluid movement, Breguet’s jewellery craftsmen designed mobile corolla, crafted elements that mimic the layered, petal-like rings of a flower, entirely handcrafted and paved with baguette-cut diamonds. All stones are set by hand in this mobile structure in Breguet gold. The double curvature of the paved corollas allows them to follow the natural curve of the wrist.

The dial of this model is also entirely set with diamonds with an off-centre sub-dial marking hours and minutes via gilded 18-karat Breguet gold hands. Surrounding this sub-dial are 20 baguette-cut diamonds marking hours and minutes. The diamonds used in this model are inverted – the table of the stones is at the bottom, while the point facing upwards – capturing and reflecting light in a unique and unusual way. There is a Breguet gold cartouche at 12 o’clock. Powered by the calibre 586/1, with a 38-hour power reserve, visible through its sapphire crystal case back, it is for the first time in this version features a hand-guilloché platinum oscillating weight with a two-tone “Petit Trianon” motif. Each piece is made to order and comes with a champagne-coloured satin-effect alligator strap fitted with a triple Breguet folding clasp, set with 28 diamonds.
Reine de Naples Perles Impériales

Reine de Naples Perles Impériales features a total of 340 diamonds, in case middle, flange and bezel, set with unique heart-shaped claws that are cut, polished, flame-welded and hand-finished in Breguet gold. The dial is set with 211 brilliant-cut diamonds with a pearshaped diamond set at 12 o’clock. The time is marked on an off-centred opal hour-circle with four Breguet numerals (12, 3, 6, and 9) and eight gold studs marking hours. The highlight of this model is an Akoya pearl set at 6 o’clock, taking the place of the famous ball attachment, a signature of the line. Along with that, Akoya pearls also take the central row of the unique Breguet gold bracelet for this model. A second champagne-coloured satin-effect alligator leather strap can also be chosen. Powered by the calibre 586/1, it offers a 38- hour power reserve. Visible from the sapphire crystal is a hand-guilloché platinum oscillating weight decorated with the “Petit Trianon” motif and topped with the Quai de l’Horloge guilloché. The caseback is also numbered and signed by Breguet.
