After introducing black and blue sunburst dials in its classic PRO series of pilot’s watches, Laco has launched a new green dial variant at Time to Watches. The PRO series is known for its customisable options, which continues with the new model, while building on Laco’s legacy of making hand-assembled tool watches.
The Flieger PRO is at its core a tool watch, with the options of typical flieger watches layouts – pronounced minute markings on the periphery of the dial, and the Arabic hours in the centre of the dial placed at the length of the hour hand or simply the one with pronounced Arabic hourmarkers. Stuttgart (type A) and Karlsruhe (type B) models.
A distinct enlarged crown, recalling how pilot’s with gloved fingers could set time, further brings in tool watch aesthetics, along with the hands, numerals and indexes featuring Super-LumiNova.
As is with Laco, the watch can be made in case sizes of 37 mm, 40 mm, and 43 mm, based on what suits the wearer, along with a classic brushed or dark sandblasted finish on the case. There is the option to add a date window, colour matched to the green, and placed at 3 ‘o clock, and also one to remove the branding, which allows the space to be utilised for a personal engraving - FL23883 marking. There are also options of strap colours (dark and light brown), bracelet, and closed or open caseback.
Th watch is powered by the Sellita movement, available in both automatic and hand-wound versions. Different quality grades, as well as decorated or undecorated options, allow for further personalization according to individual preferences. The watches have a thickness of 11 mm, along with a water resistance of 200 metres.
The wacthes are priced Euros 950 onwards.
