After the successful launch of the ART 01, ALTO debuts ART 02 at Geneva Watch Days 2026. While the Maison first emerged in 2024 with the ART 01—a watch that functioned more as a radical, conceptual manifesto—the ART 02 represents a critical strategic milestone: the inauguration of a permanent collection. This evolution signifies the emergence of a definitive brand signature, distilling the experimental codes of 2024 into a more universal expression.

The ART 02 maintains the brand’s identity through restrained proportions. Its Grade 5 titanium 36 mm case width and 10.2 mm thickness, prioritises silhouette over sheer presence. The dial is crafted from microblasted brass and finished in a deep anthracite colour, giving the surface a matte, textured finish that catches light in a subtle, diffused manner. Visually, the dial features a striking series of concentric, stepped geometric layers that mirror the faceted, octagonal shape of the watch's case. These structural ridges draw the eye directly toward the center of the face. The markers are not placed directly on its main surface, instead, it is complemented by a flange integrated directly into the case. This flange incorporates the hour markers and a discreet minute track. The hands are skeletonised to maintain a balance of precision, visual lightness, and legibility. A core technical signature of the Maison is that the seconds hand rotates counterclockwise, just like in the ART 01—a signature inversion that has become a hallmark of the brand's identity.

Inside the case, Calibre A02 powers the watch, it is developed in collaboration with Cercle des Horlogers, and was purpose-built for the ART 02. The architecture of the movement is revealed through a one-piece sapphire caseback, notably cut with nine facets and screwed directly to the case. These facets mirror the external geometry of the bracelet, creating an interplay of light that extends into the very heart of the movement.

An integrated bracelet crafted entirely in Grade 5 titanium also debuts with the watch. The challenge lay in creating a structure that maintained the brand’s signature "architectural tension" while providing "feather-light" comfort for a watch head that weighs only 38 grams (without bracelet). Each link is composed of multiple satin-brushed surfaces, with each surface finished in a different direction. A tool-free, quick-release system via integrated push-buttons allows for an immediate exchange with leather or rubber straps.
