Bremont’s Terra Nova Jumping Hour features case sizes of 38 mm and 40.5 mm so far. At Geneva Watch Days this year, the brand is releasing the smallest Terra Nova Jumping hour with a case size of 35 mm. Five new references are being released: Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour – the collection’s new compact case size, in steel; Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Frosted – limited to 150 pieces, with a shimmering frosted case; Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Burgundy – 35mm, with sunray burgundy dial and new star & dot markers; Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Frosted Pink – limited to 200 pieces, with diamond and star hour markers; Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour Burgundy - the original case size, reimagined in burgundy. Let’s take a closer look at each of them.
Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour
Crafted from 904L stainless steel, the 35 mm cushion-shaped case features two windows. The dual apertures at 12 (hours) and 6 o'clock (minutes) with an engraved Bremont Wayfinder logo at the center compete the display, with white hour disc coated with black Super-LumiNova® numerals and a white minute disc with black printed numerals. Two individual sapphire crystals protect the hour and minute windows, with a magnifier over the minute window. It is available with a steel bracelet and a grey nubuck leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching.
Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Burgundy
This model introduces a rich burgundy colorway and an entirely new, more traditional dial layout to the 35 mm family with central seconds. Same stainless steel 35 mm case, but with a sunray-lacquered burgundy dial – an all new design. There is a white printed minute track, and applied silver star and dot hour markers along with a a polished rhodium central seconds hand. The apertures in this reference feature black hour disc ( at 12 o'clock) with white Super-LumiNova® numerals and a black minute disc ( at 6 o'clock) with white printed numerals. Along with a stainless steel bracelet, this model is paired with a burgundy leather strap, complimenting the dial.
Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour Burgundy
Another model with a burgundy dial comes in a 40.5 mm profile, with same materials and finishing. What distinguishes this model is the dial layout where both the hour and minute windows are placed side-by-side at 9 o'clock. On the surface of the dial, there is a silver printed minute track, silver printed hour markers, and white Super-LumiNova® printed markers at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. Its central seconds hand is also coated with full white Super-LumiNova®. This model also comes with a stainless steel bracelet and a matching burgundy leather strap.
Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Frosted
This is a highly exclusive (limited to 150 pieces), decorative variant of the Terra Nova featuring a textured finish on the 35 mm case — creating a shimmering effect resembling tiny diamond-like facets that catch the light. The model matches all the other specifications of its counterpart and also comes dressed in a grey nubuck leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching. 4
Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Frosted Pink
This is another model that features the textured finishing on the case and features the dial layout of the Terra Nova 35 Jumping Hour Burgundy model, but stands out with a sunray-lacquered pink dial and pink numerals in the apertures on white discs. It comes dressed in pink nubuck leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching.
At the heart of all these new references is the Bremont Calibre BC634 automatic movement, developed in exclusive partnership with Sellita. The high-torque Jumping Hour complication achieves instantaneous hour changes in less than one-tenth of a second and offers a 56-hour power reserve.
