Relaunching their Diver Chronometer Collection, the Kering-group-based introduced the new Diver 42mm “three-hand” fleet of timepieces, inspired by sharks. Although similar to the 44mm models launched earlier this year, the new pieces have an unexpected vintage look with an uncluttered design and a central second instead of a small second counter – inspired by their 1964 dive watch, the “Diver Le Locle”.
The new diving pieces are water resistant to 300 meters and come with Superluminova on the 0, hands, as well as the rotating bezel for improved readability. Available in the iconic strap options of blue fabric, black veal and three-row stainless steel, the timepiece is also available in a stainless-steel Milanese mesh bracelet; a first for the brand.
The highlight of the collection is the Diver Blue Shark Limited Edition in stainless steel with a blue PVD bezel and blue dial, resting on a strap pepped-up with bright orange touches. The 300-piece limited edition series also features a blue-shark stamped on the case back – echoing the Ulysse Nardin Diver Great White 44mm.
