JLC's Peaceful Abode

The Rendez-Vous collection adds three new Metiers Rares pieces to its range. Presenting the Rendez-Vous Sonatina.

After having recently won the industry over with their eight-year warranty announcement, Jaeger-LeCoultre has a new, stunning surprise for women. The much-adored Rendez-Vous Sonatina collection now includes three new limited editions in pink, green and purple.

Th eight-piece Rendez-Vous Sonatina editions combine the arts of guillochage, micro-painting on mother-of-pearl, and gem-setting, all quite evident from the dial. The 38.2mm pink gold case houses a mother-of-pearl dial enhanced using guilloche motifs and tints of the pink, green or purple. This forms the background for the orchids and butterflies which have been painted on top of the hues, and complements the oval-shaped ring of diamonds which displays as the Night & Day indicator.

On the edge of the dial, near the 7 o'clock, you see a gold star marking the time of a special rendezvous which can be set using a second crown. Once the time comes up, the watch releases a single, melodious chime as a reminder to the owner, completely in sync with the tranquil design of the watch.

The Rendez-Vous Sonatina comes equipped with the self-winding Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture Calibre 735 movement which is showcased through the transparent sapphire caseback. Each of the pieces come with a matching alligator strap complete with a pink gold buckle.
