World Ocean's Day just went by, the summer holidays are on, and the watch industry is definitely noticing this. Kering Group brand Ulysse Nardin launches three new edition in its iconic Diver Chronometer range – including the Diver Great White in addition to the deep blue and all-black versions.
The 44mm chronometer comes equipped with the UN-118 movement and uses the manufacture special silicium technology. The movement can be viewed through the caseback. Coming to the front, the three dials feature SuperLuminova-coated indices and hands ensuring legibility even in the deepest parts of the ocean. The 12 o'clock position displays a power reserve indicator while the 6 o'clock holds the date and small seconds.
There are a few changes which the brand has introduced to these three versions. Like the numbers on the bezel have been redrawn to read 0-15-30-45 and the rubber and titanium strap has been now has a pin buckle instead of a clasp.
The Diver Chronometer Great White is a special edition limited to 300 pieces, and has a great white shark stamped on the caseback.
