HYT's "Fluid" Disruption in Design

HYT watches goes back to basics, with the introduction of the new Ho collection. Read on to know more about the "fluid-inspired" timepieces.

Focusing on the visual and emotional possibilites of time flowing as a fluid, HYT watches is the first watch brand to present a major innovation in microfluid technology, with the Ho #codesource collection.

"The minimalist design also offers a peek of the movement, which is otherwise hidden underneath the curved dial, giving the impression of water droplets falling into a basin of water. "

With drop-shape openings on the surface of the dial revealing a fraction of the bellows, the titanium pieces have a unique display system which gives an impression of levitation. This concept was based on the flowing nature of fluids, which inspired HYT to focus their attention on the continuous movement of a colored and transparent fluid within a capillary, aorund the dial.

The minutes can be read via a hand positioned at 12 o'clock and the seconds via a small counter at 9 o'clock. The cutaway at 2 o'clock enables the power reserve level to be viewed. This finely balanced assembly is magnified by a sapphire crystal which offers a completely new perspective, that of a side-on display.
The Ho is available with a supple rubber strap, with its fixings integrated into the case middle so the flow of its lines continues uninterrupted, ensuring it is supremely comfortable to wear.
