Blancpain, WatchTime India, and Time Avenue came together to host an evening for watch enthusiasts and collectors in Mumbai recently. Held at the popular restaurant Akina, the event showcased watches from Blancpain’s popular collections like Fifty Fathoms, the brand’s legendary dive watches; Ladybird, elegant women’s watches; Métiers d’Art, a collection of unique timepieces from the brand, decorated with hand-crafted techniques; and Villeret, a traditional watch line by the brand. The evening also saw the showcasing of a five-piece Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Special Edition watch, exclusively available at Time Avenue, Mumbai. An 18K rose gold watch with a green dial and black bezel, it features an engraved tiger on its sapphire crystal caseback. 

Collectors enjoyed an up-close and personal look at the watches and also had the chance to discuss the brand’s work and history with representatives present. During the event, Time Avenue’s director Viraal Rajan and wife Nikki also showcased the brand’s new Fifty Fathoms Automatique in rose gold, released earlier this year, a new iteration of the Ladybird collection, and the black ceramic-crafted Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune.
