The timepieces in the collection are deeply linked with Longines' history of exploration and innovation. It features many design codes that are inspired by the traditional pilot's watches and combined with contemporary design codes. From the oversized crown, the flange, the big font on the dial, to the diamond shaped indexes and baton hands are all features that are still present on the modern timepieces despite being suited for the modern society of today.

The Longines Spirit collection is available in three models; 40mm and 42mm in hand/calendar and 42mm in chronograph. The watches come in matt black, grained silver or sun-ray blue dial which are stamped with five applied stars. According to the Longines tradition, this signifies an “improvement of the quality and reliability of the brand's movement”. Speaking of movements, the collection is fitted with the Calibre L888.4 and L688.4 automatic movements with silicon hairsprings to guarantee extreme accuracy. Both the calibres pack in a power reserve of 64 and 60 hours, respectively and are COSC chronometer-certified.

The Longines Spirit collection is available in many strap options; steel bracelet, leather strap in dark brown, light brown and blue. Additionally, the three-hand/calendar watch is also available in a “Prestige” edition with three interchangeable straps (steel, leather and NATO in brown leather).
