The association between Omega and James Bond is well known. For more than 30 years, the two have shared a history, starting from the 1995 GoldenEye, where James Bond essayed by Pierce Brosnan wore the Omega Seamaster Professional 300M, to movies like Tomorrow Never Dies in 1997, The World is not Enough in 1999, Die another Day in 2002, and many more…Omega is deeply linked to the identity of James Bond, much like a glass of martini (shaken not stirred).

October 5 is celebrated as James Bond Day, marking the anniversary of the world premiere of the first James Bond film, Dr. No, which debuted on October 5, 1962. To commemorate it this year, Omega has introduced six new Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Editions, three of which are Spectre editions—new to the line, inspired by the James Bond movie Spectre, released in 2015.

All the watches share the same case. There’s two Seamaster Diver 300M “Bond” editions, both stainless steel 42 mm, but one is part of a continuous production (Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004), while the other one is a limited edition of 77 (Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.005). The watches come with a grade 5 titanium bezel with a laser-ablated diving scale. Their dials are made of blue aluminum featuring laser-engraved wave patterns. Their sapphire crystal caseback reveals a rotor engraved with 007.
Another one is the Seamaster Diver 300M “Bond” edition (Ref. 210.83.42.20.03.001), a limited edition of 77 pieces. Crafted in platinum‑gold, complemented with a blue ceramic uni-directional rotating bezel, the attention in this one goes to its gun-barrel pattern dial, which is crafted in 18-karat white gold with a PVD blue gradient. Following the theme, its caseback also shows the 007 engraved rotor, which is in blue PVD in this model.
When it comes to the Spectre iterations there’s a Seamaster Diver 300M “Spectre” edition (Ref. 210.83.42.20.01.001) in platinum-gold, a 77-piece limited edition distinguished with a dial featuring an octopus pattern—a symbol of SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion), of the fictional global criminal and terrorist organization shown in the James Bond franchise. The dial is crafted in 18-karat white gold with a PVD dark grey gradient. The same octopus symbol, but in 18K Moonshine™ Gold, can be seen on the rotor of the watch.
The other two Spectre editions are encased in 42 mm steel, one is the part of the main collection (Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023), while the other is a 77-piece limited edition (Ref. 210.30.42.20.01.029). These watches are distinguished with a black ceramic bezel and a blackened grained finish dial. The sapphire crystal casebacks of the watches show a blackened spectre symbol on the rotors.
Uniting all these models is the Omega’s automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, boasting a 55 hour power reserve, and they are water resistant to 300 metres. While the dial patterns are different, the layout is the same with Super-LumiNova skeletonised hands and hour markers. And except for the platinum gold Seamaster Diver 300M “Bond” edition, and Seamaster Diver 300M “Spectre” edition, which comes on matching blue and black alligator straps, the other four models are complimented with a stainless steel bracelet with foldover clasps.
Prices: Rs. ₹8,89,500 for the main collection models, and Rs. 92,92,500 for the four limited editions.
