Crafted in platinum, the watch has a blue sunray-finish dial featuring rhodium plated and Super-LumiNova® applied Arabic and minute markers and hands. The flying minute tourbillon is located at 6 o’clock. Powering this model is the IWC-manufactured automatic Calibre 82905 with a Pellaton winding system, which was developed by the brand’s former technical director, Albert Pellaton in the 1950s. This winding system allows the movement to wind the watch using both directions. There is an oscillating weight in the shape of the Little Prince standing on his asteroid, engraved with wild-growing baobab plants. The watch has a power reserve of about 80 hours and is finished with a brown calfskin strap with a platinum folding clasp.
