Progressive complications and disruptive materials – two main facets which truly define the Swiss watch brand Roger Dubuis. The three new Excalibur models originate from the same system and beliefs.
Combining the trademark features of their skeleton timepieces, with racing stamps of their recent luxury alliances, Roger Dubuis offers great engineering skill, creativity, and uniqueness through its three new models.
First, the Excalibur Spider Double Flying Tourbillon. The timepiece is available in a vibrant shade of orange on the two-tone skeleton dial, the strap and stitching, taking inspiration from the rubber overmolding typical of supercar dashboards. The heart is powered by the brand new hand-wound mechanical skeleton Calibre RD105SQ. Limited to 28 pieces, the watch features twin flying tourbillons at 5 and 7 o'clock which are further rimmed by speedometer-type small seconds display. The multicoloured power reserve indicator is a reinterpretation of the cockpit fuel gauges of racing cars.
The next is the Excalibur Spider Skeleton Automatic, available in two variations: pink-gold with futuristic titanium with multi-layered carbon, and pink-gold with a titanium container overmolded with black rubber. Synonymous with the racing-automobile inspired vibes, the timepieces are limited to 88 pieces each.
