Everything you need to know about the substantial set of new watches unveiled by Audemars Piguet
From different editions of the Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon, Offshore, and Openworked to the new innovative sand gold material, read on below to know about Audemars Piguet’s new watches

Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon
Introduced in 41mm case size topped with glare proof sapphire glass, two new references joining the line - one is Ref. 26730ST, crafted in stainless steel with smoked burgundy sunburst dial, while the Ref. 26730OR is made with 18K pink gold and has a sandblasted grey dial. Their dials come with applied white gold or pink gold applied hour markers and hands respectively. The highlight of the timepieces is the flying tourbillon rotating on the dial at 6 o’clock.

Powering both the variations is the automatic calibre 2950, beating at frequency of 3Hz and boasting a 65-hour power reserve. The timepieces are finished with a matching bracelet with an AP folding clasp.

Taking inspiration from the two stainless steel RD#3 models - 39mm and 37mm introduced in 2022 as part of the Royal Oak’s 50th anniversary, the new Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Extra-Thin debuts in 18K white gold—making it the thinnest gold model in the brand’s 37 mm Royal Oak line with the thickness of 8.1mm.

The latest 37mm iteration features 32 baguette-cut diamonds on its bezel and a smoked Petite Tapisserie pattern dial, which got its blue shade from the Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD).  Further, the dial is incorporated with a rotating flying tourbillon with rhodium-toned balance wheel, positioned at 6 o’clock and there are 12 baguette-cut diamonds as hour markers. The watch is equipped with the brand’s ultra-thin selfwinding Calibre 2968, which measures only 3.4mm in thickness, beating at the rate of 21,600 vph.

Previously presented in pink gold, yellow gold and steel, the 39mm Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Openworked (Ref. 16204) now arrives in 18K white gold. The latest creation pays an ode to the sporty design and aesthetics of the first Royal Oak from 1972. The brand played with grey tones to improve the legibility of the openly revealed Calibre 7124 on the dial displaying barrel, escapement and gear train—the movement is treated in different shades of anthracite grey for the darker effect; one can see the black finished inner bezel which is slightly darker, distinguishing the openwork of the dial. There are 18K white gold applied hour markers and Royal Oak hands on the dial.

The timepiece has a power reserve of about 57-hours and is finished with the matching 18K white gold bracelet with an AP folding clasp.

Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding

One of the rare Royal Oak Offshore models with no chronograph function, the new Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding (Ref. 15605) appears in two-tone - featuring a 43mm stainless steel crafted case complemented with a blue rubber-coated bezel. The sporty timepiece further entails redesigned crown guards and a blue inner bezel. The smoked blue Méga Tapisserie dial shows rhodium-toned gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands along with a date window popping at 3 o’clock.

The watch is powered by the automatic Calibre 4302, equipped with a patented mechanism for stability and precision when setting the watch, beating at the frequency of 4Hz and boasting a power reserve of about 70 hours. A matching rubber strap flanks the case. Additionally, the novelty is offered with an interchangeable black rubber strap.

Debuting in a new shade of gold, an innovative 18K gold and palladium alloy - the sand gold colour takes middle ground between pink and white gold, the new Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Openworked (Ref. 26735SG.OO.1320SG.01) changes from soft pink to silver colour depending on the different light exposure and angles. Openly displayed on the dial, the Calibre 2972, bridges, and mainplate are also matched with the new case and bracelet. While the hour markers, hands, and other aesthetics are applied with rhodium-toned white gold to create a contrast on the dial.

Driving the watch is the automatic calibre 2972, beating at the frequency of 3Hz and providing an autonomy of about 64-hours.
