Panerai launches Luminor BiTempo in two new colours

In a bid to reaffirm its Italian DNA, Panerai has introduced the Luminor BiTempo, equipped with the GMT complication, in two brand-new dial colours. The epitome of refinement and ease, the new timepiece makes for a perfect companion for any kind of endeavour, a passionate engagement with the world that reaches beyond a single point on a map or location.
Sized at 44mm, the new Panerai watch is presented in the signature cushion-shaped steel case, topped by a polished bezel, along with a crown at three, which is protected by a steel guard. Speaking of the display, it comes in two variations: matt black and blue with a sunray-brushed finish. As mentioned before, both of them come with the GMT function that displays time in a second-time zone with the help of a vivid cerulean blue hand, which allows visibility at a glance.

The display of Panerai Luminor BiTempo also consists of a power reserve indicator at five o’clock, a date window (it’s bigger compared to the previous models)  at three o’clock, and a small seconds sub-dial at nine o’clock. Meanwhile, the Italian text printed on the dial—BiTempo refers to the GMT function, while the word “ore” indicates the hours remaining in the power reserve—is a reference to the Italian roots of Panerai.

The new Panerai watch is powered by self-winding Calibre P.9012, which runs at a frequency of 28,800vph and can store a power reserve of up to 72 hours. On turning over the watch, one can admire the intricacies of the movement through a transparent caseback.

The matt black model of the Panerai Luminor BiTempo is fashioned with a black-coloured alligator strap while the blue sun-brushed variant comes with a blue alligator strap. Each of the iterations also comes with an additional rubber strap and a tool to allow interchangeability of the straps and a screwdriver for removing the buckle.
