The Longines Master Collection

Back in 1812, Breguet introduced the first women’s watch which was gifted to Napolean’s sister and the Queen of Naples, Caroline Murat. The Maison has introduced a new beautiful oval timepiece for Valentine’s Day- the Queen of Naples Valentine’s Day 8905 (Ref. 8905BB/52/964/D00D). The dial of the watch is made from mother-of-pearl and has a cloudy appearance surrounded by the case flange and bezel in white gold and studded with 128 white diamonds. At 12 o’clock lies the moon phase indicator and with a 45-hour power reserve indicator represented by a trail of love. Hour and minutes are indicated by blue hands on the sub-dial pointing to Roman numerals. The seconds are indicated in a sub-dial with a double heart-shaped indicator in lacquered red. The colour of love red is also seen on the alligator leather strap and on the crown adorned with a red ruby. The folding clasp in white gold is also bejewelled with 28 diamonds. This timepiece is a limited edition of 28 pieces.


Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe
This Valentine’s Day, Blancpain dedicates the iconic Fifty Fathoms to women filled with gestures of love. The Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe (Ref. Ref. 5100A-1127-W52A) comes in a 38mm satin-brushed steel case with a unidirectional rotating bezel. Liquidmetal™ hour-markers are featured on the luminous white ceramic bezel. On the dial at 4.30 lies a date window and the markings at 3, 6, 9 and 12 are made in soft pink. The tip of the seconds hand has a luminescent pink heart giving the watch a subtle vibe for the occasion of love. 
The watch is powered by the ​​in-house Calibre 1150 and is water-resistant to 300 metres. 

Rado True Square Open Heart


Rado celebrates this Valentine’s with Rado True Square Open Heart for men and women in black and white colours. These square-shaped timepieces feature a skeletonised dial with filigree windows imitating a beating heart. The white-coloured version (Ref. R27073702) has gold elements in the dial and is studded with diamonds while the black watch (Ref. R27086162) has rose-gold elements. The indexes and hands are applied with Super-LumiNova® for time readability in low-light conditions.
The watches are made with lightweight high-tech ceramic with sandblasted titanium caseback and are powered by automatic Rado calibre R734 and offer an 80-hour power reserve.


Seiko Prospex Automatic (SPB121J1)


Capping off the list with a men’s watch for Valentine’s Day from Seiko- the Seiko Prospex Automatic, for the adventurous types. This 39.5mm stainless steel watch features a green-coloured dial with Lumibrite hands and indexes enlarged with sapphire crystal together with magnifier for enhanced legibility. At 3 o’clock lies the date aperture. Automatic Calibre 6R35 powers the watch and gives around 70 hours of power reserve. Other features of the watch include the stop seconds, a rotating compass inner ring, a screw-down crown and a see-through caseback. The watch comes with a calfskin strap.
