For Zenith, the year 2021 is the year of the Chronomaster. For the second edition of the LVMH Watch Week, Zenith unveils its latest creations with a focus on the evolution of the El Primero and allowing the 1/10th of a second time measurement to be showcased in the most eligible manner possible. “My team and I are thrilled to finally be able to share with you something we’ve been working on for quite some time – a true evolution of a modern Zenith signature piece! The Chronomaster Sport sets a new standard of precision, performance and design for the staple Zenith automatic chronograph. We can’t wait to show you this watch in your markets very soon, so that you can touch, feel and experience one of our most significant launches for 2021 in person.” says Julien Tornare, CEO, Zenith.

Here are the top highlights:

Zenith Chronomaster Sport

Likely to be the most popular watches from the lot, the all new Zenith Chronomaster Sport marks the beginning of the new era of the collection. Unveiling an entirely new design aesthetic accompanied by the innovative El Primero Calibre, the Chronomaster Sport is dedicated to those who are always on the move.

Apart from being deeply inspired by the legendary El Primero A386, the new sports watch also draws inspiration from historical Zenith chronograph timepieces. From the pre-El Primero A277 that is showcased with the black bezel and dot markers, the El Primero Rainbow that lead to the inculcation of its polished bezel engraved with a tachymeter scale to the polished and satin-brushed bracelet taken from the El Primero De Luca, all of these details are added to the new Chronomaster Sport.

Crafted in a sleek and sporty 41mm steel case with robust pump-style pushers and polished black ceramic bezels, the new Chronomaster Sport offers exceptional legibility on the dial. Also offering up excellent accuracy with the help of the newest version of the legendary calibre El Primero 3600, the Chronomaster Sport is strikingly beautiful and worth every rupee!

Zenith Chronomaster Revival A385

Bringing back the gradient dial from 1969 is the all new Chronomaster Revival A385. As one of the original three stainless-steel chronograph that featured the world's first automatic high frequency chronograph, the A385 is an important part of watchmaking history that Zenith offers for your wrist with the 2021 Chronomaster Revival A385. Like the original, the 2021 version keeps in tune with the retro style theme with a tonneau-shaped steel case that houses the gradient-effect dial that adds contrast and depth.

The Chronomaster Revival A385 is available in two options; the first is the steel “ladder” bracelet option that is a modern remake of the Gay Frères bracelets that became emblematic of the early El Primero watches. The second is a light brown calf leather strap that will develop a unique patin with wear and time.

Zenith DEFY 21 Urban Jungle

Giving it a bold new colour is the DEFY 21 Urban Jungle – the fastest chronograph in production till date. Clocking in a time measurement of 1/100thof a second, the DEFY collection has always been breaking grounds when it comes to precision and avant-garde design. This time around, Zenith introduces a new colour variant in khaki green. This special rendition of the DEFY 21 is dedicated to watch lovers who love adventure and look at living a life full of dreams and endless opportunities.

The case of the new DEFY 21 is made from green ceramic which is highly scratch-resistant and intensely coloured with a matte surface. The open dial with matte silver and black counters offers a peek into the unrivalled high-frequency chronograph movement working within. The DEFY 21 Urban Jungle is available in a grey rubber strap with green cordura-effect rubber inserts.

Zenith Pilot Type 20 Silver Chronograph

Always a bestseller when it comes to aesthetic, the last novelty from Zenith watches is the richly detailed aviation-themed chronograph watch – the all new Pilot Type 20 Chronograph Silver. Limited to just 250 pieces, the Pilot Type 20 Silver Chronograph signifies the history that Zenith shares wth aviation. It represents Zenith's unique association with the world of aviation timepieces that accompanied pilots in the early 20thcentury.

Keeping in tune with this historical theme, the new Pilot watch from Zenith is crafted in a 45mm case made from sterling silver. The minutely detailed silver dial is inspired by the fuselage of an aircraft with riveted details that resembles metal panels. Furthermore, these details and decoration on the dial is emboldened with an erratic satin-brushed surface that bring our the raw beauty of the metal. Completing the aviator look is the oversized Arabic hour marker and a brown calfskin leather strap inspired by vintage pilot helmets.
