The Luminor Due launched as a sub-collection of Luminor in 2016, and has quickly climbed in popularity with those who loved the Luminor design but wanted something slimmer. The brand has progressively been increasing the offerings in this line, and the latest to join the ranks are two Luminor Due in stainless steel, exclusively for women. The watchmaker retains the classic aesthetics of a typical 38mm Luminor Due (a size with which the brand is targetting women), while updating it with new dial colours and treatments.

PAM01247 and PAM01248 get the signature Luminor Due case, and the patented crown safety device. PAM01247 features an anthracite sun-brushed dial, and its hourmarkers – numerals and indices - and hands are filled with white Super-LumiNova that glows green in the dark; the golden finish of the hands lends an elegant contrast. The accompanying strap in polished black alligator completes the bold appearance of the watch. The PAM01248 on the other hand has a ivory sun-brushed dial, matched with beige Super-LumiNova and gold coloured hands, with a polished red alligator strap and a polished steel buckle. Both models have a date window at 3 o’clock, and small seconds at 9 o’clock. The case is polished steel as are the bezel and Safety Lock crown protection device. Both watches have a water resistance of 30 metres.
Beating at the heart of both models is the Calibre P.900, an in-house automatic movement with a 72-hour power reserve, developed by the Panerai manufacture in Neuchâtel. Beating at 28,800 Vph, the movement featires an Incabloc™ anti-shock device that protects the calibre from strong impacts.
The Luminor Due models feature the Quick Release strap system that allows anyone to choose from a plethora of coloured straps that watchmaker offers, and change the straps. So be it a formal dress look or a casual day out, the look of the Luminor Due models is only limited by your imagination.
