Rado’s new True Square Skeleton in perfect geometry

Rado adds new timepieces to its collection of square ceramic watches, a signature of the brand
“We don’t just know square watches, we invented them,” Swiss watchmaker Rado proudly states. Rado introduced its first square ceramic watch in the year 1990, and in the early months of this year unveiled the True Square Automatic Open Heart. The latest from the brand is the True Square Skeleton, crafted in high-tech ceramic and in three versions - signature black (Ref. R27124162), plasma grey (Ref. R27125152), and white (Ref. R27126012).

The dial of the watch is laid out on two levels, allowing a glimpse of the skeletonized automatic calibre R808 through cleverly arranged cut-outs. In addition, two bridges stretching parallel across the dial enhance the geometric charm of the watch.
In the black and plasma grey versions, the anthracite coating of the minute wheel bridge and main plate complements the nickel colour of the bottom dial plate and its Côtes de Genève decoration. The white version comes with a gold-coloured centre-wheel bridge.

Calibre R808, manufactured by the Swatch group, is fitted with an antimagnetic Nivachron hairspring for enhanced resistance to shock, temperature fluctuations, and magnetic fields, and offers an 80-hour power reserve. The watch is water resistant up to 50 m.

The 44.2mm True Square Skeleton comes with a high-tech ceramic and titanium bracelet and is priced at about INR 250,500.
