Renowned for its unique representation of time, Trilobe has now introduced its first guillochéd timepiece at Geneva Watch Days 2023, in three versions. The Nuit Fantastique Mist NF05GB and NF06GB are in 40.5 mm and 38.5 mm titanium grade 5 cases respectively, and NF03GB in 40.5 mm 18K rose gold case. The case surfaces are mirror-polished and satin-brushed.
The highlight of the watch lies in its Grain d’Orge pattern embracing the fixed part of the dial extending from the minute window to the circumference, and accentuating the central time display. Furthermore, the inside of the azured seconds ring is decorated with triangular Clous de Paris guilloché. The hour ring and the Grain d’Orge pattern are in a combination shade of brown and grey resembling the colour of mist or brume, after which the watch is named. Trilobe called for expert craftsmen to carry out the intricate patterns on the dial that reflect light through different angles, just like the mist. The hour numerals are silvered, as well as the graining in the minute aperture. The design is the brand’s patent representing the hours, minutes, and seconds on the same plane as that of the dial and all this comes to life through anti-reflection-treated domed sapphire crystal.
"Paris - France" engraving on the movementDriving the watch is Trilobe’s in-house automatic X-Centric calibre offering about 48 hours of power reserve. The movement bears the “Paris - France” engraving referencing the brand’s recently opened workshop in Paris. The titanium watches are water-resistant up to 50 metres and the gold version up to 30 metres. The timepieces come flanked with a leather strap with pin buckle.
Titanium versions, NF05GB and NF06GB are priced at approx. ₹11,69,000 and the rose gold NF03GB comes at approx. ₹22,49,000.
