Breitling X Victoria Beckham, where fashion marries function

The new Chronomat 36 Victoria Beckham collection is offered in steel and and 18K yellow gold
Breitling’s one of the most versatile collections, Chronomat gets a revamp as the brand collaborated with the celebrated fashion designer and singer, Victoria Beckham, for the new limited-edition Chronomat 36 Victoria Beckham collection. Co-designed by the artist, the new collection takes its inspiration from Beckham's Spring/Summer 2024 palette, with peppermint, midnight blue, dove grey, and sand hues. While, few features like the metal rouleaux bracelet and raised rider tabs at the 15-minute mark remain intact.

On the partnership, Georges Kern, CEO, Breitling, says “The Chronomat is already a versatile watch with a classic form, with Victoria Beckham’s signature style, this collection is a modern, radiant expression of that timepiece.” And for the same, “It has been wonderful watching Breitling’s craftsmanship and innovation come together with my ideas to create something so elegant and fresh,” Beckham added.

There are six new references in the Chronomat 36 Victoria Beckham collection, of which three are crafted in stainless steel and three are made with 18K yellow gold. Measuring 36mm in diameter, the watch features a unidirectional ratchet bezel and dial that come in colourful hues like midnight blue (Ref. A103801A1C1A1 and Ref. K103801A1C1K1), peppermint (Ref. K103801A1L1K1 and Ref. A103801A1L1A1), dove (Ref. A103801A1G1A1), and sand (Ref. K103801A1A1K1).

More on the dial are the brand’s logo, just below 12 o’clock, a date window at 6 o’clock, and just above is the limited piece information with written “One of 100” or “One of 400” in gold and steel references respectively. One can also see the initials of the artist ‘VB’ as the counter weight of the second hand and Super-LumiNova® coated hands and hour markers. Additionally, the dove grey timepiece features lab-grown diamond hour markers on its dial.

The COSC certified timepieces are equipped with the self-winding Breitling Caliber 10, which beats at the frequency of 4Hz, and boasts a power reserve of about 42 hours. The novelties are finished with stainless steel or 18K rouleaux bracelet inscribed with VB logo with butterfly clasp. All the watches are presented in an exclusively designed co-branded box, additionally, the gold pieces are also offered with a co-branded travel pouch.

The estimated price of the steel watches are Rs. 5,11,000 (approx.) for peppermint and midnight blue references and Rs. 5,39,00 (approx.) for the dove grey dial model, while the gold ones are priced at 27,43,000 (approx.)
