Norqain reveals two new Wild ONE Skeleton timepieces

With the Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 approaching, the independent Swiss watch company Norqain is moving forward with its Wild ONE Skeleton series. The brand has also announced a new partner and the Wild ONE Skeleton series’s ambassador - multiple Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka, who has won 16 titles, including three Grand Slams, an Olympic gold and the Davis Cup.

The two new 42mm sports watches - Wild ONE Skeleton Coral and Gecko - are encased in the brand’s proprietary NORTEQ® material, made from carbon fibre that is commonly used in the aerospace industry. It is an ultra-light and robust, high-performance polymer matrix that contains 60% bio-sourced material. The novelties feature a coral red or gecko green rubber shock absorber between the case that can withstand a 5000gs shock and an openworked dial housing chronometer-certified Norqain Calibre N08S by Sellita, boasting a power reserve of about 41 hours.

The coral red and gecko green colour are also implemented in the diamond-cut, faceted minute markers and seconds hand outlines, also applied with X1 Super-LumiNova®. On the caseback one can see the personalised Norqain oscillating weight. The watches are complemented with animal cruelty-free black rubber straps with a rubber mesh insert in either coral red or gecko green. The novelties are water resistant up to 200 metres.
