The new novelties introduced by Zenith at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024, join the brand’s DEFY series. There are three new DEFY Skyline Chronograph models and two new DEFY Extreme Diver references along with one DEFY Revival A3648.
Zenith DEFY Skyline Chronograph
Zenith DEFY Skyline Chronograph Carrying forward the line’s DNA of geometric designs, the new DEFY Skyline Chronograph models now get a more edgier and contemporary look. The watches are equipped with the brand’s latest iteration of the high-frequency automatic chronograph calibre, El Primero 3600, beating at 5Hz frequency and boasting about 60-hour power reserve. Encased in a 42mm stainless steel case, the timepieces are available in three sunray-patterned dial variations - blue-toned (Ref. 03.9500.3600/51.I001) black-toned (Ref. 03.9500.3600/21.I001), and silver-toned (03.9500.3600/01.I001).
Zenith DEFY Skyline Chronograph The novelties are incorporated with dodecagonal bezel, a rehaut featuring 1/10th of a second scale, and a line’s signature starry sky-patterned dial entailing slightly oversized and overlapping counters at 3,6, and 9 o’clock and a date window in between 4 and 5 o’clock, along with SuperLuminova SLN C1 applied and rhodium-plated and faceted hour markers and hands. The watches are fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and are also offered with a matching rubber strap. The additional strap for the silver dial piece is a green rubber strap.

DEFY Extreme Diver
DEFY Extreme Diver Taking inspiration from the DEFY divers from 1969 and onwards, the new DEFY Extreme Diver now leaves its mark on the line. The 42.5mm titanium watch keeps the line’s signature angular case and dodecagonal bezel and oversized screw-down crown like the 1969 DEFY A3648, while having updated Super-LumiNova coated black ceramic ratcheted unidirectional rotating bezel with bright colours for better readability underwater.
DEFY Extreme Diver Water resistant up to 600 metres, the watches are available in sunray black-toned (Ref. 95.9600.3620/21.I300) and blue-toned (Ref. 95.9601.3620/51.I301) line’s signature starry sky pattern dials, featuring oversized rhodium-plated and faceted hour markers and hands coated with SuperLuminova X1. There is a date window at 3 o’clock. The driving force of the novelties is automatic calibre El Primero 3620 SC, which beats at 5Hz frequency and boasts 60-hour power reserve. The watches are offered with three strap options - matching rubber strap, matching fabric strap, and a metal bracelet.

DEFY Revival A3648
DEFY Revival A3648 With the new DEFY Revival A3648, Zenith revives its vintage diver’s watch from 1969 for the first time, and being faithful to it the new model is encased in a 37mm highly angular stainless steel case, along with same black on bright orange markings in black and orange. However, the unidirectional rotating bezel of the new reference has a sapphire crystal insert—the old version has Plexiglas. The dial is black featuring an orange flange with white markings, orange and white hands, and hour markers all coated with SuperLumiNova C1, which glows green. The date window is located at 4:30.
DEFY Revival A3648 The caseback reveals the automatic calibre Elite 670, which beats at 4Hz and provides 50-hours autonomy. The watch is completed with a metal bracelet and is water resistant up to 600 metres or 1969 feet, the A3648’s was launched.
