Watches and Wonders 2024: Frederique Constant introduces new models in its ‘Classic’ collections

The brand unveiled new elegant models in Classics Elegance Luna, Classic Date Manufacture, and Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture collections
Frederique Constant graced the Watches and Wonders 2024 with new elegant timepieces that joined the brand’s three sought-after collections, the Classics Elegance Luna, Classic Date Manufacture, and Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture.

Classics Elegance Luna
The Classics Elegance Luna, Frederique Constant’s latest addition to its Classics collection, introduces a Moon Phase designed by the daughter of the Manufacture’s head of R&D. Offered in four variations, in pink, light green, blue, or grey, the timepieces are housed in a 36mm steel case and feature a mother-of-pearl dial with two half-moons embracing each other, symbolising romance and intimacy. Two models are fully jewel-set with 96 diamonds, while the others feature 56 diamonds only on the hour ring, offering variations in colours such as navy blue or romantic red.

The time is displayed with Roman numeral hour markers in colours matching the leather strap. All models boast a jewel-set minute track, with two featuring bezels set with diamonds. The lunar disc at 6 o’clock showcases the moon's soft shades of grey, symbolising a kiss between the two halves. The hour and minute hands are made of steel. All models are powered by the automatic FC-331 calibre with a 38-hour reserve.

Classic Date Manufacture
Frederique Constant unveiled the elegant Classic Date Manufacture in three variations, and with some updates. The steel case is now resized to a refined 40mm from the earlier 42mm. Slim hour markers and a 'railtrack' minute circle grace the sunburst dial, available in silver, black, or salmon. Each variation boasts diamond-faceted hour markers, hand-polished hour and minute hands, and the classic date complication at 6 o’clock.

The Classic Date Manufacture features the new FC-706 calibre, derived from the FC-710 base, with a 72-hour power reserve. The bridges are adorned with beading and a fan-shaped Cotes de Genève finish. The watches come with an alligator leather strap matching the colour of the dial, and a five-year warranty.

Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture
Frederique Constant’s flagship Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture expands with three new 40mm models featuring the steel case and silver grey, midnight blue, and British racing green sunburst dials. The minimalist dials are complemented by steel hands and diamond-cut hour markers. The moonphase and date complications are elegantly displayed in a single window at six o’clock. The ‘railtrack’ minute circle runs at the periphery of the dial.

These timepieces are powered by the new FC-716 movement, derived from the FC-715, boasting a 72-hour reserve. Cotes de Genève decoration adorns the movement which is visible through the transparent caseback.

The silver grey and midnight blue versions come on an alligator strap with navy blue overstitching, and the green version is flanked with the alligator strap matching the colour of the dial. Water-resistant to 50 meters, each watch comes with a five-year warranty.
