Tudor has introduced the new Black Bay 58 ‘Inter’ (Ref. 79030N) in honour of the Italian soccer team earning their second star in Serie A of the Italian soccer league. A team is awarded a star on their jersey after winning 10 titles - Inter Milan has now secured their second star by winning 20 titles. Tudor has commemorated this milestone with a new Black Bay 58 featuring the team's logo at 6 o'clock with two gilt stars on the ombré dial shaded in 'Inter blue', which transitions from blue at the centre to black at the edges - black and blue are the team's official colours.
Crafted from polished and satin-finished stainless steel, the 39mm watch is water-resistant up to 200 metres. The crown as well as unidirectional rotating bezel is also in steel with the latter featuring a 60-minute graduated disc in matte black anodised aluminium and the markings and numerals are in gilt. The dial is topped by a domed sapphire crystal and has Tudor’s ‘snowflake’ hands as well as the indices coated with Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova®.
Powering the timepiece is the COSC-certified automatic Manufacture Calibre MT5402, providing approximately 70 hours of reserve power, making it "weekend-proof". The movement incorporates a silicon hairspring and gives a daily precision rate of -4 and +6 seconds.
Limited to 1908 pieces, the watch includes a rivet-style 3-link stainless steel bracelet and a black jacquard fabric strap with an 'Inter Blue' stripe to complement the design.
The players of the team Inter wear the watch, and it is available for purchase at Tudor boutiques in Milan and Rome, and in all Tudor sales points in Italy.
