Frederique Constant unveils three new Classics Vintage Rally Healey watches

The latest watches pay tribute to the legendary British sports car manufacturer Austin-Healey
Frederique Constant and the British automotive brand Austin-Healey started their partnership in 2004 and since then have continued to create exciting new releases every two years. This year, the collaboration between them brings three models introduced in the Classics Vintage Rally Healey line, one of which will be non-limited for the first time.

This is the Classic Vintage Healey Automatic in a 40 mm stainless steel case. It features a dial in British Racing Green with a matte finish. Like the other two models, the classic Healey logo is located at 6 o'clock. Inside is the FC-301 automatic caliber, based on the Sellita SW200 . Equipped with a dark brown calfskin strap with white decorative stitching and a pin buckle, Frederique Constant offers the 10.16 mm thick three-hand watch for Rs. 1,68,000 (approx.)

The 36 mm version of the Classic Vintage Rally Healey Automatic is limited to 1,888 pieces and, in addition to its smaller size, features a blue dial with a sunray finish, which includes a date window at 6 o'clock. It shares most of its other features with its green sister: from the two-piece steel case water-resistant to 50 m to the red seconds hand and luminous hands and indices, as well as the Sellita SW200 automatic calibre. At 9.85 mm, it is slightly slimmer, and the calfskin strap is blue to match the dial.

Both models have a closed steel case back engraved with the historic Healey 100S with the registration number NOJ393 – acquired from a classic car collector in 1969. The price is the same as for the non-limited automatic watch.

The third watch in the series is the Classic Vintage Rally Healey Chronograph Automatic. Its blue sunray dial is combined with two dark blue subdials. The red colour here is not the second hand—that's located in the small seconds dial at 9 o'clock—but the chronograph's second and minute counters. Similar to the blue three-hand watch, the ‘12’ features Arabic numerals; like the hour markers and hands, it is coated with luminous material.

Historic-looking mushroom-shaped pushers with fine hatching also characterize the 42 mm wide and 14.45 mm high steel chronograph. Frederique Constant uses the Sellita SW500 chronograph calibre, which is known in the Frederique Constant version as the FC-397. The chronograph is limited to 1,888 pieces and costs Rs. 3,38,000 (approx.).

All three watches feature a convex, anti-reflective sapphire crystal; the chronograph is the only one to display its movement through a sapphire crystal caseback. It is worn on a blue calfskin strap with white decorative stitching and a pin buckle.
