Described as “from marathon to evening wear,” by Xavier de Roquemaurel, CEO, Czapek & Cie, the new Faubourg de Cracovie “Crossroads” Victory Green chronograph is a sporty-chic timepiece. This is the first time the brand has introduced a racing green to the collection—the line already has knight black, aqua blue, and silver coloured dials.
The latest reference features the same silhouettes and movement as the previous launches. A 41.5 mm stainless steel case features integrated pushers and a guilloché crossroads pattern on the dial in ‘Alloy 401’(AuPtPdAg), developed in collaboration with dial-maker Metalem. The lines on the dial are straighter, wider, and deeper than traditional patterns, resembling a tire tread and nodding to the watch’s racing inspiration.
There is a tachymeter scale in black on the dial flange, and two sub-dials at 3 and 9 o’clock for chronograph minutes and hours, respectively. There’s a small seconds at 6 along with a date window, Super-LumiNova applied hands, rhodium plated arrow hands and a red-tipped chronograph hand.
Visible from the sapphire crystal caseback is the bidirectional 22-karat pink gold oscillating weight and an automatic movement Calibre SXH3 boasting a 5 Hz frequency and providing a power reserve of about 65 hours. A black alcantara or calf strap completes the watch.
