MB&F's Legacy Machine No. 5

The Legacy Machine Split Escapement adds a fifth model to its family in grade 5 titanium.

Iconic to the independent brand since 2017, the Legacy Machine Split Escapement collection now houses five models under its belt, the most recent one being the 33-piece limited edition in grade 5 titanium and a green CVD-treated dial. The MB&F LM Split Escapement defines the revolutionary techniques the brand uses to engineer these works of art with its suspended balance wheel hanging above its triple-dial design.

The green sunray dial features three subdials under the hanging balance wheel. The one at the 12 o'clock position displays the time, the 4 o'clock shows the power reserve indication and the 8 o'clock position showcases the date. The date can be adjusted using the push-button on the side of the case. Developed by Stephen McDonnell, the manual-winding engine of the LM SE Titanium Green beats at a rate of 2.5 Hz/18,000 bph and packs a power-reserve of 72 hours. The piece is retailed at CHF 64,000 (USD 68k or EUR 59k) or Rs. 43.70 lakh + VAT.
