An ode to beauty, strength and regenerative capacity of the forest, Chopard marches forward with its ethical approach with the all new L.U.C XPS Spirit of Nature. From the dial to the case material and even the strap, each part of the watch demonstrates the Maison's dedication to sustainability and preservation of our deteriorating environment.
The timepiece features a green dial that is decorated with a stamped leaf motif and finely snailed small seconds hands and glided dauphine fusée-type hours and minutes hands. Like most of its current watches, the 40mm case of the L.U.C XPS Spirit of Nature is also carved from a block of 'Fairmined' certified 18K rose gold with a water resistance of 5mm.
The matte green hand-sewn vegetable-tanned alligator leather strapped to the watch has also been selected after making sure that it is environmental friendly. It is certified by CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) designed to protect endangered wildlife species against over-exploitation through trade.
Apart from the aesthetics and the ethics involved with the watch, its horological excellence adds a new charm to the timepiece. The L.U.C XPS Spirit of Nature is equipped with an ultra-thin automatic L.U.C 96.12-L calibre which is COSC certified and clocks in a power reserve of 65 hours.
The Chopard L.U.C XPS Spirit of Nature is limited to just 100-pieces.
