Geneva Watch Days 2020: Ulysse Nardin

Making a blast this year at the 2020 Geneva Watch Days is Ulysse Nardin's new model – Blast.

Ulysse Nardin had a blast at Geneva Watch Days late August 2020 with its roaring new model - Blast. The latest model captures nature - a design philosophy which brings to mind earth and its untamed elements.

Forces of nature like magma and glaciers have been a huge inspiration behind the design of this fierce timepiece. Ulysse Nardin's Blast reminds you of nature and how daunting mother earth can be at times.

The geometric architecture of Blast, intricate with its tessellated horns, brings to mind a stealth aircraft. Its rugged beauty is further augmented by its open work which takes you by storm. Blast's new and powerful automatic silicium tourbillon, sitting snug in the X-shaped cage, beats inside at a frequency of 2.5 Hz.

The rectangular frame, three-horned signature fixing the strap, coloured bezel, its movement with the barrel at 12 o'clock and the flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock all come together to only overstate Ulysse Nardin's emblematic aesthetics.

Blast is available in four distinct models -- white, rose gold, black, and blue -- each with the new manufacture UN-172 movement with an automatic tourbillon and the new self-deploying buckle. The watches are offered in different strap options like structured rubber, leather, velvet
