These partnerships cement the watch brand's involvement in motorsport events.

Keeping this in mind, TAG Heuer celebrates the 2021 Grand Prix de Monaco Historique with the unveiling of the TAG Heuer Monaco Green dial. The illustrious race will feature more than 200 Grand Prix cars with more than 50 different carmakers and 21 countries participating during the racing weekend.

About the watch:

The TAG Heuer Monaco Green Dial Calibre Heuer 02 features the signature elements of a timepiece of this stature. Limited to just 500 pieces, the watch is available in a 39mm polished and fine-brushed stainless-steel case in the classic Monaco shape with a crown at 3 o' clock and water resistant upto 100 meters.

What stands out in this edition is the unique green sunray-brushed dial that houses three chronograph counters; black minute chronograph counter at 3 o' clock, green permanent second indicator at 6 o' clock and a black hour chronograph counter at 9 o' clock. The vibrant green dial is the first of its kind to ever feature on a Monaco model. TAG Heuer gives its fresh take with the colour moving from light green in the centre to dark green at the edge which conveys a sensation of speed. The addition of a white lacquered central hand with a TAG Heuer printed logo completes the watch.

Powering the watch is the sophisticated Calibre Heuer 02 manufacture movement that clocks in an impressive 80 hours of power reserve. The consistency of the inclusion of the colour green spreads to the movement with the engraved markings on the oscillating mass and the column-wheel offered in green. This subtle aspect of the watch can be viewed via the sapphire crystal caseback.

The TAG Heuer Monaco Green Dial Calibre Heuer 02 comes in a black alligator leather strap and is presented in a new packaging that has been specially created to evoke the racing heritage of the brand and the Monaco collection. The watch is set to be available in select boutiques worldwide and on the brand's website from the 23rd of April 2021.
