This Baselworld saw the announcement of a long-term partnership between two celebrated high performance brands – Jacob&Co. and Bugatti. The collaboration was officiated with the launch of the new high complication masterpiece by the watch brand, the Twin Turbo Furious Bugatti edition.

“When I look at a Bugatti Chiron, the perfectly refined engineering is so powerful that sometimes the car appears to be moving even when it is standing still”, says Jacob Arabo, founder of Jacob & Co. “That’s the same feeling I get when I wear our high complication timepieces: a rush, a sense of energy, movement and power that can barely be contained.”

Designed keeping the Bugatti Chiron in mind, the new launch features turquoise around the dial paying homage to the 100^thanniversary of the car. The dial also features the Bugatti logo at the centre  along with the colours of the French flag on the gauge. The 39-piece limited edition is available in three variations with 18 pieces in carbon fibre, 18 pieces in rose gold, and three pieces with diamonds.

The 832-component titanium piece features the manual winding JCFM05 movement and comes with a power reserve of 50 hours. It is water resistant to 30m and sits comfortably on a black leather strap with blue stitches.
