The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon (Ref. 310.92.44.50.06.001) is a distinctive 44.25 mm chronograph encased in a polished and brushed grey ceramic, inspired by the color of lunar dust. It features a skeletonized grey dial, laser-ablated to depict the Moon’s surface as viewed from Earth, while the reverse side of the movement, visible through the transparent caseback, shows the far side of the moon. A unique feature is the small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, which includes a hand meticulously crafted from Grade 5 titanium in the shape of the Saturn V rocket. The watch is powered by the manual-winding Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3869, which is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss and offers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.
